It *could* be great, but it’s CPU-hungry: it keeps my cpu busy for the max (99% if no other programs are running, 70-80-90% if ohter applications need some CPU too). So please fix it & I’ll love it too! (although I believe Vista will have something similar)

Couple of other suggestions:
6. Delete file from history when working copy is deleted
7. Delete/Rename file from history when working copy renamed
8. Ability to delete a history file from the History window
9. A button to delete orphaned history files (which no loger have a working copy file)
10. Ability to set how many saves of a file to keep (and delete the oldest when that number is hit)

I love it. Simple, to the point, and very easy to use. Much easier on a desktop system than installing a full SVN server or something.

As another commenter said, I’d love to see support for WinMerge in particular, so I could right-click on a file, and instantly have it compared with it’s most recent backup.

As well as the ability to have a custom history folder name. SVN, and numerous unix apps in Cygwin of course use .directories, and I’d like to be able to use .verjet which is more uniform and descriptive, though if it’s a user option you could of course use anything.

Nice work so far though!

This is a simple yet very effective program.
My request list:
1. Add the help from the website into the online help. (I couldn’t find the History command by myself)
2. Add the History command from the context menu into the application itself (it already has context-less feature)
3. Add ability to preview text, not just pictures.
4. Add abiliity to compare in custom comparison apps – or at least just support WinMerge open source app.
5. Be able to specify where to save __history folders. Inside the original versioned folder tree is not always good.

Very nice program;

I have been looking for something like to use as a saftey net when working on Access databases.

I have tried a number of other options but everything else is either expensive or cumbersome.

Verjet just plain works.

Way to go folks.
